Updated October 2026

Step by step

  1. Copy the TikTok link. Open the video in TikTok, tap Share, then Copy link.
  2. Paste it into the downloader. Paste the link into the box at the top of the page and press Download.
  3. Choose MP4 or MP3 and a quality. Pick a format and a resolution.
  4. Wait a few seconds and save. After the short countdown your file starts downloading.

1. The in-app Save video button

Creators can allow downloads. When enabled, tap Share, then Save video. The file carries a moving TikTok watermark and the option disappears if the creator turns downloads off.

2. Use a link downloader

Copy the link from Share, then paste it into the box at the top of our home page. You pick MP4 or MP3 and a quality. This is the quickest way on a computer, where TikTok offers no save button.

3. Screen recording

Works on any device but lowers quality, captures notifications and adds the interface. Use it as a last resort.

Choosing a quality

540p is fine for sharing in chats, 720p suits most phones, 1080p is best for editing or large screens.

Troubleshooting

If a link fails, check that the video is public, that the link opens in a private browser window, and that you copied the whole address. Short links from vm.tiktok.com work too.

Frequently asked questions

Why does my TikTok link not work?

The video is probably private, deleted or limited to certain countries. Copy the link again with Share, then Copy link. Both the full tiktok.com address and the short vm.tiktok.com link work.

Can I download every video from a TikTok profile?

Not in one click. Paste individual video links instead: up to 5 at a time, or 25 with a Quick Pass.
