Which Facebook videos can I download?

Public videos only: posts on Pages, public profiles, Facebook Watch and Reels. Friends-only videos and videos in private groups cannot be downloaded.

Does it work with fb.watch links?

Yes. Both facebook.com links and short fb.watch links work.

Why is my Facebook video only available in low quality?

Facebook offers SD and HD versions, but older or low-resolution uploads may only have an SD copy. We show every quality that exists.

Can I download a Facebook live video?

Once the live stream has ended and Facebook saved it as a normal video, usually yes. A stream that is still live cannot be downloaded.

How do I copy a Facebook video link on my phone?

Tap Share under the video and choose Copy link. On a computer, open the video and copy the address from your browser.

Can I download Facebook Stories?

No. Stories need a login and are not supported.

Is it safe to paste a Facebook link here?
