Can I download Instagram photos, carousels or Stories?
No. We support videos and Reels only. Stories and private content need a login, so they cannot be downloaded.
Why does it say the video needs a login?
Instagram sometimes hides a post from visitors who are not logged in, for example because of age, region or account settings. When that happens we cannot fetch it.
Does the Instagram video keep its sound?
Yes, if the original has audio. Music in Reels is often licensed for Instagram only, so use it for personal viewing.
What quality will an Instagram video be?
Instagram stores videos at up to the resolution they were uploaded, often 720p to 1080p. We list every quality it offers.
Can I download from a private Instagram account?
No. Only public posts can be downloaded, and we never ask for your Instagram password.
Is Instagram notified when I download a Reel?
