Steps for Instagram on Android
In the Instagram app tap the Share icon on the Reel, then Copy link. If links keep opening in the Instagram app, long-press the link and choose Open in Chrome. Private accounts cannot be downloaded.
Where your Instagram file is saved
Chrome saves the file to your Downloads folder, and it usually appears in the Gallery or Photos app within a moment.
Good to know
Instagram can hide a post from visitors who are not logged in. When that happens the video cannot be fetched, even if you can see it in the app. If nothing happens, allow downloads for this site when Chrome asks.
